AOC Decree & Technical specifications

 

The Organisme de Défense et de Gestion (ODG) also called the Syndicat Viticole is the guarantor of quality for the Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée Moulis or Moulis-en-Médoc:

 

 

  • strict production rules defined in Technical Specifications (ratified by Decree 2009-1274 of 20 October 2009) and implemented under the control of an Inspection Organisation (AGROCERT) and a Control Organisation (INAO: Institut National des Appellations d’Origine)
  • 100 % of properties subject to authorisation in AOC Moulis
  • 100 % of the wines put on the market are checked before bottling (analysis and tasting)
